Fishing for Answers
Imperial life scientists are using transgenic Zebrafish, which express green fluorescent protein, to explore how inflammation and metabolic disease are linked to diet and lifestyle.
With state-of-the-art microscopes, the researchers are looking inside living Zebrafish and watching how immune cells are recruited to sites of inflammation.
They aim to better understand conditions like diabetes and inflammatory Bowel Disease.
